Choo Family Orchard is a durian farm nestled deep in the Pantai Acheh area of Penang. On the west side of the island.

This is a very rustic old-fashioned family farm developed along a gradual slope of the countryside. There is also a more elevated area where the slope abruptly becomes much steeper. And guess what are along these steeper slopes. More durian trees.

The house brand durian that is famous throughout Penang is Zhu Chun Hong. A heavy tasting durian that spots yellow flesh colour that borders on orange-red.

You won’t be able to find directions from Googlemaps on how to get to the place. So visitors unfamiliar with the area should plan their route beforehand.
