Coke is a durian found in Penang during the late stages of the main season. Implying that it enters the market usually around late June and July.
The husk is light yellow-green in colour with bulges on each.

In a way, it kind of resembles khun poh, except that the latter is less dramatic with it’s bulges but more messy with it’s thorns arrangement. it does spot a short stocky stem just like khun poh as well.
The thorns curve upwards at the top near the stem.
While coke durian can often be found in the size of 1kg give or take, it can sometimes also grow into huge durians like D15.
The pastel yellow fruitlets are huge. Partly due to the thin rind on this durian.
When you get a 1kg coke with such mega-sized fruitlets, it can be quite a sight to behold. The thought of value-for-money will immediately come to mind.
The taste is mild. But because of the huge amount of yield in the flesh, the taste can engulf the whole mouth when you take a big bite out of it.
