Thick Thorn Durian
Thick thorn is a low profile kampung during from Penang. The Chinese name is chu ci (粗刺), or chor chee in Hokkien.
The name comes from the thick nature of the thorns that can be observed from the husk.

The size of these thorns are in the arena of D14 which is well-know for it’s huge spikes as well. But thick thorn durian’s thorns are less protruding.

The colour the flesh is light beige. And the texture is quite creamy. But sometimes it can also be quite soft.
