Durian Kaki is one of the busiest durian places in Penang. They open very early in the morning and usually sell-out before office hours ends.

I call it a durian place because I don’t really know how to classify it. It’s a full-fledged retail shop with a wide variety of durian products, including tables and chairs for patrons to feast in. It has it’s own farm supply which I won’t be surprised if it’s close by. While it’s situated right beside a street just before the highway, you can hardly call it a street stall. If anything, it’s more like a rest station with how much it has going on on the premises.

If you are looking for a specific variety of durian that is not only available at one particular place, then chances are that Durian Kaki will have it at one point or another during the season. You just have to ask them for assistance.

Durian peak season why supply is literally pouring onto the streets, you can often find them offer very attractive promotions to clear the inventory as they don’t hold durians overnight.

Just remember to control the urge to over-order here. You will feel like a kid again at the candy store.
